What COVID safety protocols do you have in place?
It is now optional for everyone to wear masks while in the shop. However, speak with your artist if you have any concerns or requirements.
If you are experiencing any COVID-19 related symptoms or have been a close contact of someone with COVID-19 symptoms please reschedule your appointment - your artist will accommodate you with a new date.

No, we are open by appointment only.
Do your artists do flash or custom designs?
Both! Most of our artists have available flash designs and/or can accommodate custom requests.
What hours is the shop open?
We don’t have specific business hours, it all depends on the artist’s appointments

What age do I have to be to get tattooed at Outsider Tattoo Collective?
You must be 18 years old to be tattooed, there are no exceptions.
How much will my tattoo cost?
To book a tattoo appointment, the non-refundable deposit is usually $100 via email transfer. This fee goes toward the total cost of your tattoo. We have a $120 + GST minimum rate for a maximum of 45 minutes, and after that artists charge by the hour, rates vary between 180 to 250 cad per hour, some artists charge flat rates per piece.
If you booked with a guest artist please check with them about their pricing. Guest artists are subcontracted by the shop, thus their rates may differ from the rates of our resident artists.
What methods of payment are accepted and how will I pay?
Artists charge directly, usually they take cash and e-trasnfer. However, check with your artist regarding their preferred methods of payment.
How should I prepare before my tattoo?
Wear loose clothing to accommodate the placement of your new ink! Make sure to be in good shape on the day of your appointment, get lots of sleep the night before, no drinking, eat properly, etc. & please arrive on time.
Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?
We have a small studio, so for the comfortability of everyone we encourage not to bring friends. However, we can be accommodating for specific cases, please speak to your artist when booking if you have any concerns.
How should I care for my new tattoo?
It is important not to submerge your new tattoo in water for 2 weeks (ie. no baths or swimming, showering or rinsing your tattoo is fine). Shield your tattoo from direct sunlight until fully healed. Do not pick, scratch or touch your tattoo during the healing stage.
Your artist will speak to you about more in-depth tattoo aftercare, please speak to them if you have any questions or concerns.

Is there any parking available?
Street parking can be difficult to find, however, there is a private parking facility a 3-minute walk from the shop at 160 Water st.
